INSTAGRAM FOR LANGUAGE TEACHERS:

Learn how to use Instagram to build your brand and find new clients

AN ONLINE COURSE

Yes, Instagram can help you sell your language courses and programs.

But not when you’re using it wrong.

Is your Instagram account full of posts about language rules, pronunciation tips and words of the day? Let me guess: it’s not working well, is it?

You put so much effort into it, and all you get is five measly likes and random comments from your best buddies or bots. Where is the herd of loyal followers and a flood of sign-ups for your new course all those popular blog posts promise?

Maybe selling on social media doesn’t work at all?

Oh yes, it does. Just not by posting language tips or asking people to sign up for your programs.

What you need is a thought-through strategy to find your ideal audience and convert them into email subscribers, to gradually build rapport and win their trust so that when you do have a course to sell they’ll be the first in line to enroll.

Imagine that this February, you could open your Instagram account and…

  • See an account you want to share with others
  • See an account you want to show up for
  • See consistent growth in likes, viewers, and followers
  • Know what to share and what to talk about because you now have a plan
  • Know that your audience wants to hear (and eventually buy) from you
  • Know how exactly you’ll turn all that IG love into money, but at the same time 👉
  • Feel like you’re just being yourself and having a good time rather than “doing marketing”

Sounds like a plan?

Join this course.

But first…

Meet your instructors

A language teacher, a business coach & a graphic designer

Elfin Waters

Italian language coach

Elfin Waters is an Italian language teacher who helps her students overcome their fear of speaking. In 2018, she spoke at Women in Language conference on how to use Instagram for language learning. Just by using Instagram, she has become an authority among online Italian teachers, inspiring them to teach Italian beyond grammar rules.

In this course, Elfin will teach you how to convert followers into paying customers and show you the exact strategies that have been helping her find paying customers for her language coaching programs and Italian retreats.

Elena Mutonono

Business coach

Elena Mutonono is a seasoned business coach who helps online language teachers move beyond one-on-one lessons and create a smarter teaching system that guarantees a stable income on your own terms.

Elena grew her first Instagram account to 11 000 followers within a year, making Instagram the main source of her income. After she changed her niche at the beginning of 2019, her account grew naturally to over 2,000 followers, many of whom have become her clients.

In this course, Elena will share the strategies that help her find new clients and grow her brand on Instagram naturally, without a huge following, gimmicks, and sleazy tactics.

Veronika Palovska

Brand strategies & graphic designer

Veronika Palovska is a brand strategist and a graphics designer. She helps online teachers transform their work into memorable brands to build trust, spark conversations and grow their business.

In the course, Veronika will teach you visual storytelling and show you how language teachers can move away from clichés to make their accounts stand out. She will also show you how to take better pictures with your phone camera even if you don’t consider yourself a good photographer and edit them with free tools.

Inside this course:

Proven strategies. Practical assignments. Personal feedback.

Forget generic advice and one-fits-all answers. Learn Instagram strategies that work for language teachers, put them to action on the spot, and receive personal feedback from the coaches and support from your peers.

A self-paced 5-part audio course + 5 workbooks to teach you all about Instagram

Stories, reels, hashtags, funnels, … Feeling a bit lost already? Marketing on Instagram isn’t complicated, but it’s changing fast. This course will help you understand how to use it, even if you’re a complete beginner or have been out of Instagram for some time and lost track.

Each week, you’ll get a series of downloadable audio lessons and a workbook. Listen to the lessons on your own time, take notes, complete the assignments, and if you have questions or need help, you can ask in the forum or our weekly meetings.

A supportive community that will help with engagement

Are you afraid that you’ll post or do a live and no one will engage? Does Instagram feel like a party where you don’t know anyone? You’re in the right place.

You’ll be taking this course together with a cozy group of like-minded language teachers. They’ll boost your IG engagement by leaving comments and likes, brainstorm with you, give you feedback, and hold you accountable to help you get the ball rolling.

Practical assignments + templates to beat the writer’s (or photographer’s) block

Forget about the blank page paralysis. You will always know what to talk about on Instagram because each week, you’ll receive photo prompts, video prompts, and fill-in-the-blank content templates that work for language teachers.

You’ll see that you don’t need to be the most extroverted or charismatic person in the room to connect through video, and you don’t need to be hanging out with celebrities at rooftop parties or traveling the world to take attention-grabbing pictures. You already have all you need to stand out.

Live Q&A sessions to answer your questions

We meet weekly for a live Q&A session to get all your questions answered. Can’t attend a live session? Send your questions in advance and watch the recorded session later.

We meet on Thursdays at 11 am Central = 5 pm GMT.

Personalized feedback to help you avoid common mistakes

It’s hard to see your own account objectively. That’s why you’ll receive feedback on your account in the beginning, in the middle, and at the end of the course, so you’ll be able to see your progress and avoid the mistakes that might be costing you clients and money.

BONUS: A printable IG planner to help you stay motivated

You’ll get instant access to the planner as soon as you enroll.

BONUS: A check-in live session in the summer of 2022

If you do the work, you’ll get momentum during the course, but it’s crucial not to lose it afterward. You will have the content plan, new connections, new skills, all the lessons to re-listen, and the assignments to do again whenever you want, but to help you even more, we want to meet with you later in the year to check in on your progress and answer any questions that will come up.

Wider reach, double engagement and stronger confidence

I had an Instagram account for more than half a year, but I couldn’t figure out why no one seemed to want to leave a comment or subscribe to my list.

What helped me change the situation was working with Veronika and Elena during a workshop and individual coaching sessions.

With their help, I changed my strategy on Instagram and started posting different images, gained more courage in sharing my own pictures, and concentrated on telling a story instead of patronizing my followers. This made a huge difference – my new posts got twice more engagement and had a much wider reach.

More likes, more views and a naturally growing account

I was following all the traditional blogging advice but was struggling with engagement and visibility. But then I attended a webinar where Elfin spoke about selling on Instagram and finally understood what I need to do to on Instagram to help my business.

After I applied her tips, I saw more likes, more stories viewers and more visibility for my posts in general, and my account has been growing ever since.

Have more questions? We have the answers.

“What do I need to participate?”

You’ll need an Instagram account (duh!), a business email address with your own domain and an account with the email marketing software (MailChimp, MailerLite, etc.) It’s great if you have a website, but it’s not a must.

“What if my audience isn’t on Instagram?”

If your clients are busy professionals, then this course is indeed not for you. But if your clients love to travel or learn languages for pleasure they are most certainly on Instagram. In this course, you’ll learn how to find them and make them notice you.

“How much time do I need to invest into this course?”

You’ll need about 2.5 hours a week to go through the teaching materials and about half an hour a day to do the assignments. But since the assignments include posting on Instagram, those 30 minutes a day will be you actively growing your business.

I already have many followers. Won’t this course be too basic for me?

Are those followers also buying your courses like hot cakes? Then great. Don’t take this course.

But chances are, you’ve noticed that the number of followers doesn’t indicate a thriving business and, while your followers keep liking your posts, they aren’t buying your courses.

In this case, you’ll benefit from this course learning how you need to change your strategy on Instagram and how to convert your followers into paying clients.

I already have an account. Will I have to start from scratch?

You won’t need to start from scratch, of course. But you’ll probably have to change the direction and – depending on the number and quality of your followers – unsubscribe some of them.

We don’t recommend multiple Instagram accounts, because you’ll get burned out trying to grow them all at once long before you see any sales.

The timing doesn’t suit me. When are you running this course next time?

We run this course only once a year, and it’s the last time we offer it at such a low price. So, if you could move things around and join us this time, you’ll save double: on the enrolment fees and on the time you’re not going to waste throwing things against your Insta-wall and hoping they stick.

In 5 weeks from now, you could have a solid strategy of converting your Instagram followers into paying clients. If you wait another year, it may become 13 months instead.
