OnlineBound Podcast #62
Chris Pontiroli on taking action before being ready
June 6, 2024
In this episode, Chris Pontiroli describes all the changes she’s made since she joined the Smart Teacher’s Library. After months of hesitation, she gave it to herself as a birthday gift.
Once she made the decision, she was all in and immediately started putting the ideas into practice. She’s already sold her asynchronous programs to 70+ students in the past year.
The Library brought a sense of community to what can be an otherwise lonely career. And the self-coaching tools have allowed her to shift her mindset – a total game changer.

About Chris Pontiroli
The english language has captivated me since my early days in Buenos Aires. I’ve been fortunate to turn this passion into my profession, and I’ve dedicated many years to sharing this love with my students. My journey has taken me from Argentina to Spain and France, and then to Athens, Ohio, USA—a place that is very close to my heart.
My mission is to empower individuals to achieve their personal and professional aspirations through English. I see the first part of my last name, ‘Ponti’-which means ‘Bridges’ in Italian-as a symbol of my role as a catalyst, helping people connect and communicate effectively.
I believe in every person’s ability to find emotionally satisfying and academically beneficial results when deciding to start allowing themselves to find their voice in English. In that process, it is my task to become a conversational partner where the following principles are the driving force:
mutual respect, trust and honesty, reciprocity, open communication, equality, warmth, and reliability.
